* The information in this table is based on the intentions expressed by students to school personnel during the graduation exit interview and/or requests for transcripts to be forwarded to colleges.

** Membership as of October 1997.

NOTE: Number of Respondents may exceed 12th grade membership as a result of a sizable number of students entering a school subsequent to October 1997 and reporting plans to attend a 2-4 year institution.

PLACEMENT OF VOCATIONAL PROGRAM COMPLETERS AND LEAVERS

The following tables present data available from the Florida Education and Training Placement Information Program (FETPIP). Follow-up data are gathered by FETPIP from various sources and pooled to provide an outcome profile of various educational and training programs.

FETPIP uses confidential follow-up data that describe the employment, military enlistment, incarceration, public assistance participation, and continuing educational experience of those individuals followed.

The following tables provide summary follow-up data on individuals who gained employment or pursued continuing education after participating in an applied technology education at the secondary or postsecondary level during the 1996-97 school year.
